There are three access levels: 

  • Free Users: Users who have registered and created a free account on Wilcom's website. 

  • Trial Users: Users who have created an Wilcom account and downloaded and activated a 14-day free trial of Wilcom's software. 

  • Customer Users: Users who have either a pre-paid license or an active subscription to Wilcom's EmbroideryStudio software.

Free users have access to the following resources: 

  • Free Download Section: Access to a library of designs, thread charts, and free fonts. 

  • On-Demand Webinars: View webinars at your convenience to learn about various topics and get tips and tricks for using Wilcom's software.

Trial users have access to everything that free users do, plus: 

  • Trial Journey Course: A dedicated course designed to guide you through the features of Wilcom's software, helping you get the most out of your 14-day trial period.

EmbroideryStudio Customers have access to all content available to both free and trial users, plus additional exclusive content: 

  • In-Depth Masterclasses: Access to comprehensive masterclasses that cover advanced features, techniques, and applications of EmbroideryStudio. 

  • Dedicated Courses: A range of specialized courses tailored to various skill levels and specific use cases, ensuring a deep understanding of the software.

To upgrade your access level: 

  • From Free to Trial User: Download and activate the 14-day free trial of EmbroideryStudio using your Wilcom account. 

  • From Trial User to Customer User: Purchase a pre-paid license or subscribe to EmbroideryStudio. Your access will be automatically upgraded, granting you access to all premium content.

Once your 14-day trial ends: 

  • You will no longer have access to the Trial Journey course and any other trial-exclusive content. 
  • You will revert to a Free User and continue to have access to the free downloads and on-demand webinars.
  • To maintain full access to all content, consider buying a EmbroideryStudio subscription. 

After creating a free account on Wilcom's website: 

  • Log in to the Wilcom Academy.
  • Navigate to the "Free Downloads" section to access designs, thread charts, and fonts. 
  • Visit the "On-Demand Webinars" section to watch available webinars. 

Yes, access is restricted based on your user level: 

  • Free Users: Cannot access the Trial Journey course or customer-exclusive Masterclasses and courses. 
  • Trial Users: Can access the Trial Journey course but not the customer-exclusive Masterclasses and courses. 

To unlock all content, upgrade to a Customer User by subscribing to Wilcom's EmbroideryStudio software.
